As Makers, we can't stand feeling helpless but like almost everyone, we too have been feeling helpless in the face of this global pandemic. It’s time for us to all do something to battle this virus and there’s a way everyone can pitch in to help.

Today we launched the new MAKING IT IN CUBA website. Prior to this, our address www.makingitincuba.com redirected to our Seed&Spark crowdfunding site. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed through that campaign to help fund our scout to Cuba in January. We will continue to send out updates to our Seed&Spark followers and our mailing list.

The MAKING IT IN CUBA scout was hugely successful. We visited more than 17 different locations last week touring workshops, garages, studios and kitchens around Havana while managing to squeeze in a day trip to a tobacco plantation in Viñales, Pinar del Río.

Thank you to everyone who pledged to our crowdfunding campaign. Not only did we hit our goal, we smashed through it!
