We’re back!
We couldn't have imagined a better way to get to know a place, its people and their creations.

The MAKING IT IN CUBA scout was hugely successful. We visited more than 17 different locations last week touring workshops, garages, studios and kitchens around Havana while managing to squeeze in a day trip to a tobacco plantation in Viñales, Pinar del Río. Everyone we met with was eager to tell us their stories of perseverance and overcoming challenges, often through unique solutions of their own creation.
Over the next few weeks, we will start assembling a "sizzle reel" with some of the best clips from our time with the Makers. We'll bring this teaser to production companies, arts and humanities funds and other prospective funders with the goal of securing financing for the necessary budget to shoot a feature-length documentary on the most compelling stories from the island.
Be on the lookout for more photos from the scout trip on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Plus, we'll also start posting video clips from behind-the scenes. Stay tuned!
